SAVE ANIMALS VALUE ENVIRONMENT (SAVE) is a registered society under the
society’s registration act with registration number- J&K/ROS/JRS-856-2014.
Our Society is also registered by the Animal Welfare Board of India since 16/07/2019 (Recognition Code:
JK008/2020).
We have also registered with NITI Aayog and our Unique ID of NGO in Darpan is JK/2019/0227672.
We are 80 G Registered with our ID number AAMAS8194AF20211.
We are also 10 AC registered with our UID AAMAS8914AE20206.
The GOI Ministry of Cooperate affairs , Office of Registrar of companies has registered the society for
undertaking CSR activities and our registration ID is CSR00047217.

What we do:
We are a key stakeholder with Govt. of UT of J&K in Animal Welfare in policy making and implementation
for animal rights.
We rescue rehabilitate, treat and feed hundreds of Large and Small animals.
SAVE has been instrumental in the formation of statutory SPCAs (Societies for Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals) across Jammu and Kashmir.
Reporting matters of animal abuse to the law enforcement authorities and assisting them in the
investigation.
Adopting abandoned, disabled, and injured animals and conducting adoption drives to promote adoption
of Indian dogs and cats instead of exotic breeds.
Conducting outreach campaigns to sensitise people about animal behaviour, duties of pet owners and
punishable offences under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960.
Conducting awareness campaigns in schools and colleges about animal welfare and ethical treatment of
animals, towards building a compassionate society.
SAVE regularly conducts Animal Birth Control and Anti Rabies camps in Army Cantonments to provide
humane solution of dog population control.
Assisted the Government of Jammu and Kashmir in formulating protocol for prevention of cattle
smuggling, hunting of wild Animals, illegal breeding, and illegal slaughter of animals in Jammu and
Kashmir.
Brought several animal cruelty offences to book and assisted the police and prosecution officers in
successfully enforcing the rule of law.
SAVE runs a shelter where handicapped dogs, cows, horses, male calves etc and animals rescued by the
volunteers of the organisation or the police from cruelty cases or accidents can be housed and provided
veterinary treatment and care.
