Saveanimalsvalueenvironment Trust is a non-government animal welfare organization that provides medical care to un-owned domestic and stray animals, also runs a rehabilitation centre for birds, reptiles and small mammals. Our objective is to help animals in pain and suffering, and we try our best to nurture them back to a healthy and happy life.
Our facility is in the centre of the city and very well connected by roads. Animal lovers routinely bring in injured and distressed strays to our hospital. Similarly, we receive a variety of wild birds and small mammals at our rehabilitation centre.
What we do:
We are a key stakeholder with Govt. of UT of J&K in Animal Welfare in policy making and implementation
for animal rights. We rescue rehabilitate, treat and feed hundreds of Large and Small animals.
Save has been instrumental in the formation of statutory SPCAs (Societies for Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals) across Jammu and Kashmir, which would serve as a platform for partnership with civil Society
to resolve issues related to cruelty to animals. SAVE has volunteers across Jammu who help in rescuing
animals from abuse or accidents. The day to day work for the welfare of the animals costs much more than
